According to talkSPORT, the Hammers have asked to be kept informed on Rashford's situation at United. West Ham would reportedly consider a loan move for the 27-year-old but believe he is more likely to join a 'top European side'.

Rashford has not played for United for nearly a month now and several weeks on from saying he wanted a "new challenge". The England international is reportedly more likely to leave on loan in January, with AC Milan among the sides keeping tabs on him. With Potter just installed as West Ham's new head coach, following Julen Lopetegui's sacking, what a statement of intent it would be to recruit Rashford as his first Hammers signing.
